Arrive at Kigali International Airport, where you’ll be met by a driver guide and transferred to the Kigali Marriot Hotel. Afternoon spent with leisure at the hotel. Located near the Nyarugenge financial district and Kigali Convention Center, this 5-star hotel offers spacious rooms with modern amenities, complimentary Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool, and a relaxing spa.

After breakfast, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park Located in south-western Uganda, with lunch en route. Cross the Rwanda/Uganda border and proceed to Gorilla Heights Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Located in Nkuringo, the lodge features 15 cottages, elegant dining, a heated pool, and a spa with a steam bath and sauna. Bwindi, Africa’s oldest rainforest and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers exceptional gorilla trekking, birdwatching, and nature walks through its dense jungle, valleys, waterfalls, and the awe-inspiring Virunga Volcanoes.

After an early breakfast, head to the Uganda Wildlife Authority headquarters for a briefing, then begin your gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which can last 2-7 hours depending on the gorillas’ movements. Spend one hour with the gorillas before returning to Gorilla Heights Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Batwa Cultural Village to experience their traditional way of life. Overnight at the lodge. The trek offers an unforgettable encounter with mountain gorillas, while the Batwa visit showcases their ancient customs and traditions.
