Murchison Falls, the park’s crown jewel, is Africa’s most powerful waterfall. The Nile River squeezes through a 7-meter fissure in the Rift Valley escarpment, creating a thunderous roar as it plummets over 45 meters into the “devil’s cauldron.” Visitors can admire this awe-inspiring natural wonder from various viewpoints, with Baker’s Viewpoint offering panoramic views of the falls and the surrounding landscapes.
